Here are the rules I have also posted this in the events as well. I wanted to get this out there just for you all so that it would be easier for you to consider running. I do remember many were concerned about the possibility of running a 10sec single turbo supra. So here are the rules that will hopefuly prevent that from happening. Date: 7/7/01, gates open at 4:00pm, qualifying starts at 5:00 Classes: Open, Street, Normally Aspirated Payouts: Undetermined until day of event(More cars running = larger payouts) Spectator fees do not count Open class will be Quick 8 bracket Street class will be Quick 16 bracket N/A class will be Quick 8 bracket There will be no trophy classes 25.00 fee for racers, 10.00 fee for spectatorsOpen class rules: Up to 2 power adders(n2o allowed) Turbo upgrades(Single or Twin) Slicks Upgraded transmissions Engine mods(pistons, cams, etc.) All bolt on performance upgrades(fmic, exh., intake) Upgraded fuel systems(ofcourse) No back-halved or tube chassis cars Must retain stock type of suspension(if car had IRS, it must retain IRS) Street class rules:
1 power adder only(n2o not allowed even if its the only power adder) No engine mods allowed Must retain stock turbo's except for older generation cars or mild upgrades for DSM's and 300Z's(Cars running quicker than 12.0 and/or faster than 120mph with upgraded turbos will be moved to Open class regardless of make or generation) Must run drag radials or Regular radial tires(No slicks) All bolt on performance upgrades ok(fmic, ud pulleys, exhaust, intake, etc.) Anything not allowed in Open class is not allowed in Street class N/A rules: No power adders Must run drag radials or Regular radial tires(No slicks) All bolt on performance upgrades ok(cam gears, ud pulleys, exhaust, intake, etc.) Anything not allowed in Street class is not allowed in N/A class
